Cashstar - Ripped off
Our kids bought a $100 gift card from Cashstar to BJ's on 3/26/19 and gave it to us. We went to BJ's today and tried to use it at the end of our meal.
The waitress tried to run it several times. It kept coming up 0 balance. We finally paid another way and while she was doing that I looked up the gift card on the BJ site. It shows it WAS bought on 3/26 from Cashstar and then was cashed out fraudulently at the Miami International Airport on 4/29/19 at 11:05 PM.
The BJ's manager said that the code used (forced redeem) shows that the person who used the gift card number did not have the pin code to even use the card.
He also said this is the second Cashstar E-gift card that this has happened to in the last several weeks. DON"T buy from this company
Reason of review: Ecard was already used fraudulently.
Monetary Loss: $100.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
